The Way of Caishen is an original sculptural work created independently by the LIKREAT team, featuring Zhao Gongming, the Martial God of Wealth, together with his black tiger. The sculpture is formed using the traditional lost-wax casting method, followed by multiple stages of heat patination. This process gives the bronze surface a rich yet warm depth, while bringing greater dimension to the golden armor, layered robes, and the powerful form of the black tiger under changing light. Zhao Gongming stands in golden armor with a solemn and commanding expression, holding a gold ingot in his hand. Beside him, the black tiger rests low to the ground, muscular and powerful, poised yet restrained. The contrast between the standing figure and the resting tiger creates a strong sculptural tension, while continuing the traditional symbolism associated with the Martial God of Wealth — dignity, integrity, and prosperity. People often hope for the God of Wealth to arrive at their door. Yet The Way of Caishen expresses a deeper idea: wealth does not appear from nowhere; it is built through integrity, disciplined action, and long-term accumulation. The “Way of Caishen” is therefore not simply about seeking wealth. It is about following the right path, earning wealth with integrity, remaining true to one’s principles, and cultivating lasting fortune. Zhao Gongming symbolizes uprightness and responsibility, while the black tiger represents steadiness, guardianship, and strength. Together, they form a contemporary interpretation of career, wealth, and one’s way of living. Displayed in an office, study, tea room, or living space, the sculpture is not only a finely crafted bronze artwork with a distinctive Eastern cultural identity, but also a reminder of how wealth is pursued, how it is preserved, and, above all, how one remains true to oneself. Walk the right path, and true wealth will follow.
