Green Tara Sculpture

Grace remains in motion throughout this miniature portrayal of Green Tara. Finished in a warm gold tone, the figure is defined by a serene expression, elaborate crown, layered ornaments, and two lotus blossoms rising beside the shoulders. One hand extends outward in an open gesture of generosity, while the other is raised near the heart. Tara’s distinctive posture places one leg forward, suggesting readiness to move from contemplation into compassionate action. Flowing ribbons and carefully gathered garments soften the composition, balanced by a tiered lotus pedestal beneath.Revered in Tibetan Buddhism, Green Tara embodies active compassion and courageous responsiveness. The thumb-sized sculpture offers a refined reminder that empathy becomes meaningful when joined with awareness and purposeful action.
